Selected projects that demonstrate our surveying and digital delivery capability in real construction environments. Cases include terrain models, orthophotos, volume calculations and progress monitoring for better project control.

Quay Saltkajen, Stockholm

Construction of a new pier with a dock and the reconstruction of the existing quay.

The quay dates back to the late 1800s, so there are no exact drawings available. Therefore, renovating it is an exciting task. Various historical remnants from the old port operations, such as crane tracks and oil pipelines, have been uncovered.

Water is a challenge.

High environmental standards.

Testing concrete with slag (Green Concrete).

Tram network from Hamngatan to T-Centralen

Expansion of the existing tram network. Construction of a tramway system, including stops.

The entire project was carried out in a complex environment with high public interest.

Stockholm’s Wastewater plant

Stockholm’s future wastewater treatment system.

The project is an execution contract, where installation will be carried out as a collaborative contract.

The project is expected to be completed in 2027.

Bringing Barkarbystaden closer to the city

Expanding Barkarbystaden while preserving natural areas. Longitud worked on ground reinforcement, remediation, and monitoring.

Tasks included staking out water and utility conduits, road construction, and landscaping. Assisted site management with planning and drawings.

Also contributed to concrete and foundation work for multiple bridges and the concrete structures connecting them.

Helped establish the area’s control network. Conducted drone flights to generate orthophotos and 3D models for volume calculations.

The tender has been won by Skanska Sverige AB, with Longitud working as a subcontractor.

Global ICT Data Center

Mercury won the tender as Main Contractor to provide a turnkey R&D Data Centre of 6,000m² overall capacity. 3,000m² of space was fitted out in phase 1 at a power density of 9MW. Phase 2 saw the fit-out of the remaining 3,000m² at a higher power density of 14mw.

The facility is on a greenfield site. The cooling topology is chilled water, using hybrid coolers to serve both in-row coolers and traditional down-flow units. The power distribution system is concurrently maintainable, and the facility has 2 50MVA grid connections.

Mercury’s prime CSA sub-contractor was Lemminkainen who carried out the groundworks and building shell with a team of experienced Mercury site and management staff. This team liaised with local and international suppliers, vendors and consultants – including Longitud.

Vinsta – E4 Stockholm

Vinsta interchange for the E4 Stockholm bypass.

Skanska has signed a contract with the Swedish Transport Agency to build the Vinsta interchange for the E4 Stockholm bypass, Sweden. Longitud acts as a subcontractor for Skanska.

The project concerns the link between Stockholm’s western suburbs and the tunnels for the new E4 Stockholm bypass.

The project includes two circulation sites, expansion of the road Bergslagsvägen, reconstruction of the pedestrian and cycle road network, connecting concrete tunnels to the road Skattegårdsvägen and relocation of utilities.

Täby – Tibble Railway construction

Our deliverables included accurate digital terrain models in point cloud and mesh formats, orthophotos of the site, section views, and various other deliverables for use in Autodesk and GEO software environments. The models were used for macadam volume calculations, site overviews, and progress monitoring.

Hogbytorp Värmeverket Biogas station access road construction

Our deliverables included highly accurate digital terrain models in point cloud and mesh formats, orthophotos of the site, and deliverables for use in Autodesk and GEO software environments. The models were used for earthmoving calculations, project overview, and site progress monitoring.

Täby Park development

Our deliverables included highly accurate digital terrain models in point cloud and mesh formats, orthophotos of the site, and various deliverables for use in Autodesk, Bluebeam and GEO software environments. Skanska project.
